Arriving to Spain

After many hours in a car we finally arrived in Spain. We drove for some time by the cost, than we decided to make our first real stop and enjoy the ocean.

We ended up in a small tourist beach… but we did not plan to stay long. So we went to the corner of the beach, dropped all our cloth and jumped into the water. Really nice after a long sweaty drive!

Suddenly, when we where enjoying the ocean we got visit by the police. They told us to putt on cloth and that it was not legal to be naked on this beach. SHIT, they also wanted to get our passports so that they could give us a fee. But lucky as we were they gave up (as no one of us could speak very good Spanish). Greetings from the forest! Things are going so well down here! Our newly constructed - and ever-improving - Seed Center is absolutely fabulous. Its the perfect location. Now you can get off the bus, walk for five minutes through the jungle, climb a steep hill, and you arrive at our tropical paradise. At night you hear only the sounds of the jungle -- we even had some monkeys pass through recently!

Construction has been a big theme this spring. At the Seed Center we now have a central meeting area with rooms upstairs for long-term visitors, a small kitchen, plus an attached dorm for volunteers. Rainfall provides fresh drinking water, and bathing choices are the beautiful creek or an outdoor shower from the water tank. [Continue]

News update: Costa Rica/ Wild Climax Refuge!

FuckForForest have bought about 60 hectares with forest in Costa Rica that now is protected area. The exact nr and figures are we still waiting for form our layer in Costa Rica. This protected area is now named: Wild Climax Refuge. About 10 % of this is land that is destroyed by farmers and need to get replanted. The rest of the land is intact forest that is untouched by humans.

Of course, we in fuckforforest love the freedom of animals. So when the Berlin zoo contacted us with a request about helping one of their animals we reacted with mixed emotions. Should we help an animal from the zoo, a prison for animals, made so filthy humans can enjoy nature from their destructive cities? But when they told us it was about Knut - the ice bear, we could not say no.

The issue is that Knut, because of too much contact with humans, have lost his animal instincts and most important his sexual instinct! He cannot connect to female bears anymore and will probably end up in a life of loneliness. So we were asked as FFF to try to help Knut out with some soft sexual therapy. [Continue]
